Before Push Back

A successful push back requires the team work of many highly skilled professionals. This morning we learnt about the job of the load master, the inflight kitchen chef, the check in counter officer, the security officer, the dispatcher, the meteorologist, the cabin crew, the maintenance engineer, the marshaller, the heavy duty push-pull tug driver, the air traffic controller and the pilots among others.

We live in an interdependent world. Completing complex tasks requires the coordination of many well trained people and we need good communication skill to interact with others. Good speech, good actions, good livelihood and good effort go hand in hand. Unskillful interaction with others can lead to stress, anger and conflict.

We learn that happiness is solitude and silence, peace and tranquility. Frequent practice of sitting in a corner with the legs crossed, eyes closed gives us the moment of solitude and silence, peace and tranquility. Many good things in life are for free.

Our next talk will be on 090111, school term would have started. Many of you will be in a new school that may or may not be your choice. You will need to deal with new people and make new friends. Is the person who is the most popular a good friend? Will you be happy with such friendship? We will discuss TRUE FRIENDS.
